Sgt. 1st Class Michael Gasser, U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Service Pistol Team, teaches a class on pistol marksmanship during the Small Arms Firing School at Camp Perry. The SAFS, which is part of the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s annual National Pistol and Rifle Matches, teaches weapons’ safety and marksmanship to attendees. Gasser, a Houston, Texas native, and other USAMU Soldiers competed in the CMP National Pistol Matches from June 30 to July 2, 2017 after completing their SAFS instruction.
