SOUTH CHINA SEA – Lance Cpl. Adrian Vildosola, an assistant at the ship’s barber shop with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, cuts Lance Cpl. Dusty Kilcrease’s hair aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Aug. 28, 2017. Maintaining Marine Corps standards preserves good order and discipline while deployed, which has a large impact on warfighting readiness and the ability to accomplish missions, time spent in the barber shop builds camaraderie and cohesion amongst the Blue-Green team. The 15th MEU and America Amphibious Ready Group are operating in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
