INDIAN OCEAN – Petty Officer 3rd class Keaton Cristobal, an aviation boatswain’s mate with the America Amphibious Ready Group, prepares vegetables for evening dinner aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Aug. 29, 2017. Culinary specialists, and ship augments work hard along with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s food service specialists to provide four meals a day for a ship the size of a small city. The 15th MEU and America ARG are operating in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
