In this image released by the Texas Military Forces, Armed Forces Appreciation Day committee members and day volunteers, right to left, Johnna Butera, Samantha Babin, Rhonda Wilke and Carol Sledge, prepare for a barbecue luncheon at the Rocking Rodeo Pavilion at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston, Texas, Tuesday, March 2. Volunteers from the barbecue committee cooked over 650 pounds of sausage and brisket each to serve to the veterans and current service-members and their families able to attend the event. In addition to the food provided during the event, two Texans cheerleaders, Ms. Houston, Annie Flores, and Miss Rodeo Texas Princess for 2010 and 2011 were on hand to sign photos for the troops.
