170914-BD107-001 SAINT JOHN (Sept. 14, 2017) -Sailors assigned to Construction Battalion Mobile Unit (CBMU) 202 prepare for road clearing operations in support of Hurricane Irma relief operations. Hurricane Irma sustained 185-mph winds for 37 hours, the longest any cyclone on the globe has maintained that intensity. The Department of Defense continues to support the lead federal agency, FEMA, as well as the state and local authorities in disaster relief efforts.
