Soldier’s of the 203rd Transportation Detachment salute the American flag during their mobilization ceremony, March 13. The 203rd TC Det. is the only Army unit to self deploy by sailing to the theater of operations on their Logistic Support Vessel-8, the largest sailing vessel in the U.S. Army. Army watercraft of the 203rd TC Det. are equipped, manned and operated by the Army Reserve. The unit falls under the 359th Transportation Battalion out of Fort Eustis, Va.
