Lt. Col. Brion Aderman, commander of the Wisconsin National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry, 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, smiles at Col. All 32nd IBCT Soldiers who deployed to Florida received the award. The Florida State Active Duty Ribbon is awarded to members of the Florida National Guard and elements who support the Florida National Guard in a major tour of active state service in the aid of civil authorities. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker issued Executive Order 254 Sept. 8, which authorized Wisconsin’s adjutant general to call Wisconsin National Guard troops to state active duty to assist Florida through an Emergency Management Assistance Compact request made by Florida Gov.
