170930-M-CK339-025 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Sept. 30, 2017) Sailors lpace a simulated casualty onto a stretcher during a mass casualty training drill aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22). The drill is designed to train Sailors and Marines to treat multiple casualties at once. San Diego is deployed with the America Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
