ARABIAN GULF (July 18, 2017) A rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) transfer passengers between ships during a test and proficiency fire evolution of the griffin missile system onboard 5 PC’s, July 18-20, in the Arabian Gulf. The five participating PC’s assigned to Coastal Patrol Squadron (PCRON) 1, home-ported in Manama, Bahrain, operate in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operation.
