ARABIAN GULF (July 18, 2017) Passengers exit a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) during a passenger transfer to the guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) during a test and proficiency fire evolution of the griffin missile system onboard 5 PC’s in the Arabian Gulf, July 18. The five participating PC’s assigned to Coastal Patrol Squadron (PCRON) 1, home-ported in Manama, Bahrain, operate in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operation.
