YAUCO, Puerto Rico -- A pendant light filled with river muck dangles from the ceiling of a Lucchetti home, following severe flooding in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Nov. 6, 2017. Residents of the Lucchetti community of Yauco had to be evacuated before the Yauco river burst through its banks. An emergency levee construction project is underway, spearheaded by the Army Corps of Engineers. Over 10,000 cubic meters of earth will be used to return the Yauco river to its original course and ensure the safety of the residents of Yauco. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
