Air Force Master Sgt. (Ret.) Dyana St. John looks around the medical display tent during the annual Torrance Armed Forces Day Celebration in Torrance, Calif., May 21. The folded flag in her lap has extra significance because after her father was killed during the Korean War, she never received one. She requested one from the VA and a group of Marines were more than willing to honorably fold it for her. “This means the world to me,” she said. “It finally brings some closure.”
