Cone, the commanding general of the United States Training and Doctrine Command, and fellow high-ranking officers salute as the flag-bearers present the colors at the Annual Armed Forces Day Parade and Celebration in Torrance, Calif., May 21. Torrance’s Armed Forces Day Parade is the city’s longest standing tradition. This year marks the 52nd year of this legacy, which began in 1960 under Mayor Albert Isen.
