180121-N-YG414-103 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 21, 2018) Quartermaster 3rd Class Joshua Stroberger, attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), uses an alidade navigational device to relay bearings from land readings to quartermasters inside the pilothouse as the ship exits dry dock. The ship and crew now enter a final upkeep and training phase in preparation to become fully mission capable for operations.
