A recruit with Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, holds his towels out at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 15. This was part of an initial gear inspection that ensures the recruits have all the gear they will need for the duration of training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate March 9.
