Staff Sgt. Justin Wood, drill instructor, Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, instructs a recruit to move faster during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 15. Recruits learn to immediately and willingly obey orders given by their drill instructors to practice good order and discipline. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate March 9.
