180206-N-SF984-0060 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 6, 2018) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) Lt. Jg. Damara Dezarn and Ens. Amanda Skinner, assigned to the ship's Executive Department, stand watch in the ship's pilot house as the ship departs San Diego for a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific Region. Dewey will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group deployment in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
