180207-N-SF984-0071 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 07, 2018) Sailors assigned to deck department aboard Arleigh Burke-Class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) remove chocks and chains from an MH-60 Seahawk on the ship's flight deck. Dewey, departed Naval Base San Diego on a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific Region, Feb. 6. Dewey will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group deployment in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
