MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 1, 2018) U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Julio Najera with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 Reinforced (REIN) receives his new collar insignia during a promotion ceremony aboard the amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) March 1, 2018. The 26th MEU is deployed at sea to conduct maritime security operations, crisis response and theater security cooperation, while also providing a forward expeditionary naval presence in Europe and the Middle East.
