180322-N-RP435-025 SAN DIEGO (Mar. 22, 2018) – Force Master Chief Steve Timmons greets Ship’s Serviceman 1st Class Gavilan Walters before entering Snyder Hall on Naval Base San Diego. Timmons was recently assigned to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) and is accompanying Vice Adm. Mary Jackson while she tours installations in the Southwest region to assess and provide feedback on how the bases can better serve the warfighter and the fleet. Navy installations are complex, diverse platforms designed to support and enhance warfighter readiness by providing manning, training and resources to meet the fleet’s operational requirements.
