Third Army/U.S. Army Central honored its volunteers today by recognizing them for their contributions. Rhonda Williams, representing Third Army/U.S. Army Central Inspector General's office, received the Patton Award from Col. Mike Simmons, deputy G3, for her outstanding work helping families at Third Army/U.S. Army Central. Williams raised more than $700 in the monthly bake sale for Family Readiness Group events and contributed many hours with family members ensuring high moral for IG families and Soldiers. Williams is one of four people recognized at the ceremony hosted by Cathy Whitcomb, wife of Lt. Gen. R. Steven Whitcomb, commander of Third Army/U.S. Army Central. Other honorees are Terry Lein, Constance Holman and Master Sgt. Mona Venning.
