U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 2, 2018) U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Isaac Seals, a platoon commander assigned to Assault Amphibious Vehicle Platoon, Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), supervises the platoon’s movement to a training area in the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of Operations. The 26th MEU trains to sustain expeditionary readiness across a range of critical capabilities both afloat and ashore in order to be prepared to respond to crisis in the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of Operations.
