Lindsey Henry, a journalist with KOAM & KFJX, interviews Susie Stonner, a FEMA public information officer, as the first modular housing units arrive at the Officer Jeff Taylor Memorial Acres temporary housing site. Twelve housing units arrived at the site, near Joplin Regional Airport, July 23. The nearly 24-acre temporary housing site and the nearby Hope Haven site, constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will accommodate 346 modular houses for residents displaced by the EF-5 tornado here May 22.
