Chief Warrant Officer Anthony Wilson, instructor, Marine Wing Support Group 47, New Orleans, addresses Surinamese soldiers of the New Horizons Basic Security Course Class 11-02, July 30, 2011. The 30-day training course is a U.S. Joint Force effort to improve the security provided by Surinamese army soldiers to New Horizons 2011, by providing instruction on basic security tactics such as vehicle, building, and individual searches. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian mission between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command with the goal of helping to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
