In keeping with tradition, Marines from the USMC's Security Forces Training Company enter the fantail of the USS Wisconsin via a red-carpet and greet members of the Regiment's Command Staff. The Wisconsin, an Iowa-Class Battleship is a museum ship moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and Nauticus in Downtown Norfolk. The ship hosted its first ever Mess Night on May 25, 2018. The ship is available for area commands for military ceremonies, including re-enlistments, promotions and retirements via the Hampton Roads Naval Museum (US Navy Photo by Civilian Public Affairs Officer Max Lonzanida)
