In keeping with tradition, command staff from the USMC's Security Forces Training Company based out of NSA Hampton Roads' Northwest Annex are seated at the President's table and ceremoniously cut the beef that is presented by the Vice. Upon sampling the beef, it was declared tasty and fit for consumption. The Wisconsin, an Iowa-Class Battleship is a museum ship moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and Nauticus in Downtown Norfolk. The ship hosted its first ever Mess Night on May 25, 2018. The ship is available for area commands for military ceremonies, including re-enlistments, promotions and retirements via the Hampton Roads Naval Museum (US Navy Photo by Civilian Public Affairs Officer Max Lonzanida)
