In keeping with tradition, Command Staff seated at the President's table ceremoniously cut the Beef after it is presented by the Vice and drummed and fifed aboard with much fanfare. The Wisconsin, an Iowa-Class Battleship is a museum ship moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and Nauticus in Downtown Norfolk. The ship hosted its first ever Mess Night on May 25, 2018. The ship is available for area commands for military ceremonies, including re-enlistments, promotions and retirements via the Hampton Roads Naval Museum (US Navy Photo by Civilian Public Affairs Officer Max Lonzanida)
