DAHLGREN, Va. (July 19, 2018) - John Fiore, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) technical director, claps after presenting a plaque reproduction of a patent certificate to NSWCDD inventors - Stephen Dix and Tracy White, left to right. They were among 32 patent holders honored before family, friends and colleagues at the NSWCDD Patent Awards ceremony. Dix and White were recognized for their patented innovation, ' Tripod mount with a Traverse Support Mechanism'. This invention is a durable weapons tripod that is easily stowed and deployed.
