DAHLGREN, Va. (July 19, 2018) - John Fiore, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) technical director, holds a plaque reproduction of the patent certificate he presented to Gerhard Thielman and his son, Benjamin, at the NSWCDD Patent Awards ceremony. The father and son team were among 32 patent holders honored before family, friends and colleagues at the NSWCDD Patent Awards ceremony. "The potential benefit to the warfighter is an adaptable, self-contained vehicle with multi-mission capability," said NSWCDD Chief of Staff Chuck Campbell regarding the Thielmans' innovation.
