Members of O.C. to D.C. listen to beeps from an altitude indicator inside their rocket to learn the rocket's launch apex, March 29, 2018, while competing for a slot in the Team America Rocketry Challenge national competition through the STARBASE 2.0 program at STARBASE Los Alamitos. Successful launches were scored based on proximity to specific altitude and flight duration goals set forth by the TARC competition guidelines.
