Capt. Vince Margiotta, Fox Company commander with 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, gives an operational order to his Marines before conducting a night raid Aug. 20, 2018, during Marine Rotational Force – Darwin’s Exercise Koolendong at Mount Bundey Training Area, Australia. Fox Co inserted via MV-22 Osprey to seize a Military Operations on Urban Terrain town. Ex Koolendong enabled U.S. Marines to more effectively train and operate with Australian and French partners, enhance regional security, and build capacity to respond more rapidly to natural disasters and crises throughout the region.
