    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 (VMM-268) hook up an M777 Howitzer from Mike Battery, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, to an MV-22 Osprey during Marine Rotational Force – Darwin’s Exercise Koolendong at Mount Bundey Training Area, Australia, Aug. 25, 2018. This is the first time an Osprey has lifted and moved a Howitzer in an austere environment in Australia and it is the first time an entire artillery battery deployed in support of MRF-D.
