MV-22 Ospreys from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 (VMM-268), pick up Marines with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, for a night raid Aug. 21, 2018, during Marine Rotational Force – Darwin’s Exercise Koolendong at Mount Bundey Training Area, Australia. Fox Co inserted via Osprey to seize a Military Operations on Urban Terrain town. Ex Koolendong enabled U.S. Marines to more effectively train and operate with Australian and French partners, enhance regional security, and build capacity to respond more rapidly to natural disasters and crises throughout the region.
