Peggy Sapp, CEO of Informed Families / Florida Family Partnership and President of National Family Partnership, was the guest speaker at the 21st Annual Secretary of Defense Red Ribbon Week Awards Ceremony held at the Pentagon Hall of Heroes, Oct. 20. She spoke of the successes the Red Ribbon Campaign has had over the years. "Red Ribbon is about primary prevention," said Sapp. "It's important that people know you care. You help people by building relationships, by caring." Many outstanding military programs were recognized; the National Guard was honored to receive two.
