Hlad, a native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, is the commanding officer of 7th Comm. Bn., III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group. Bradley, a native of Saint Petersburg, Florida, is the 7th Comm. Bn. sergeant major. This annual battalion-wide hike is a tradition stretching back to the origin of 7th Comm. Bn. on Oct. 1, 1957. The Marines of 7th Comm.
