U.S. Marines participate in a 6.1 mile hike commemorating 7th Communication Battalion’s 61st anniversary aboard the Central Training Area, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 25, 2018. The Marines are with 7th Comm. Bn., III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group. Every October, the Marines of 7th Comm. Bn. participate in a battalion-wide hike to preserve the traditions of their predecessors, some of whom served in the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Shield and Restore Hope.
