    All Americans: 2/82 Infantrymen gain US citizenship in Kuwait ceremony

    Pfc. Jorge Granados (left) and Pfc. Yuriy Lashchuk, stand with Brig. Gen. Jonathan Ives, deputy commanding general, 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, and their team leader, Sgt. Neal Fornicola, following a naturalization ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Nov. 9. Granados, born in Baja California, Mexico, and Lashchuk, born in Krivoy-Rog, Ukraine, became American citizens during the ceremony. The Paratroopers are infantrymen assigned to the 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division's C Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, and are currently deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn.
