Sgt. Dustin Goad, a food service specialist, checks on the roasted turkey that will be served to prisoners, families and staff of the Northwestern Joint Regional Correctional Facility on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Thanksgiving is the one day all year when families of prisoners can have a meal with them. The NWJRCF's mission is the care, custody, and control of military prisoners. The NWJRCF provides the prisoners with educational and vocational opportunities, and rehabilitative treatment programs so that they may be returned to society as productive citizens.
