    24th Marine Expeditionary Unit

    Staff Sgt. Glendon Rawlins, a section leader with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit's Battalion Landing Team, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, gives a mission brief to his Marines using a terrain model prior to conducting a practice exercise for an Air Tactical Recovery of Personnel and Equipment course aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., Nov. 9, 2011. Rawlins, a native of Durham, N.C., was one of about 30 Marines that took part in the TRAP course, which took place 6-10 Nov. It's purpose is to train Marines with the 24th MEU BLT on how to conduct TRAP operations from MV-22 Ospreys, and CH-53E Super Stallions for their upcoming deployment.
