U.S. Army Sgt. Nicholas Cazel carefully excavates a grid unit at a remote mountain location. Cazel is assigned to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, in Honlolulu, Hawaii, as a recovery non-commissioned officer who deploys worldwide to search for the remains of missing American service members. The ultimate goal of the JPAC, and of the agencies involved in returning America’s heroes home, is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans lost during the nation’s past conflicts.
