Navy Café attendees play a game of charades and share a few laughs before sitting down over coffee and tea to get to know each other. The U.S. Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka’s Navy Café, which takes place a few times a year, creates a comfortable environment where Japanese and Americans can get a better understanding of each other’s life and culture on either side of the main gate. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
