Lt. Cmdr. Lance Lindley, admin officer on board the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), points out where he is from in Texas at U.S. Fleet Activities Yokosuka’s Navy Café. The pop up cafe, which takes place a few times a year, creates a comfortable environment where Japanese and Americans can get a better understanding of life on either side of the main gate. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel.
