Iraqi Armed Forces soldiers raise an Iraqi flag outside the headquarters building for the 3rd Division of the IAF, during a ceremony celebrating the opening of the Al Kasik Military Training base. Construction of the base began in the 1980s under the reign of Saddam Hussein. Recent renovations and construction have made the base ready for soldiers in the past few months. The base will house and train soldiers to provide added security to the northern part of Iraq. (Photo by Spc. Blair Larson)
