Lt. Col. Tammy Von Busch, lead veterinarian embarked aboard High Speed Vessel Swift, checks a military working dog's health that is living at the Peruvian canine unit on Base Naval de Callao. Von Busch is participating in a subject matter expert exchange regarding their military working dogs and administering general medical advice to consider while working with the dogs. The two different militaries are working together at the Callao Naval base as a part of HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012. HSV-SPS 12 is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
