Veterinarians embarked aboard High Speed Vessel Swift, and Peruvian naval service member Alferez de Fragata Jauregui Iparraguirre, holds a puppy still as it receives fluids at the Peruvian canine unit on Base Naval de Callao. The two different militaries are working together at the Callao Naval base with military working dogs as a part of HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012. HSV-SPS 12 is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
