Lt. Col. Tammy Von Busch, lead veterinarian, embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, holds a puppy while she receives fluids on Base Naval de Callao during HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012. Von Busch is participating in a subject matter expert exchange regarding military working dogs. The two different militaries are working together at the Callao Naval base as a part of HSV-SPS 12. HSV-SPS is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
