HN Mariya Pakhomova is assigned to the Adult Mental Health Department. Her daily duties include conducting intake interviews with patients and gathering background information. She gathers information on the history of the presenting illness and pass the information along to providers to work on diagnosis and treatment plans.
“I enjoy helping patients during this stressful time in their life,” Pakhomova said. “Being able to listen to and support Sailors of all different ranks and backgrounds makes me feel as if I am making a difference in the military.”
