U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Brandi Thomas, a rest and recuperation non-commissioned officer for Combined Joint Task Force-1, successfully picks up a raw egg with her feet without breaking it during the Task Force Maverick Spur Ride, Feb. 21. At the beginning of the spur ride, the candidates were given a raw egg to serve as their battle buddy throughout entire event. They had to take caution not to break it as they performed various tasks during the spur ride. If they broke it, candidates had to get on stage and give their “battle buddy” a proper eulogy.
