Sgt. Ayrin Hamner-Ripperger, the administration and supply non-commissioned officer for the 831st Engineer Company, Iowa Army National Guard (IANG), holds the third-place plaque she earned at the Lincoln Marathon in her office at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center on May 13, 2019. After joining the IANG and getting a full-time job at CDJMTC, Hamner-Ripperger found a passion for running. In September 2018, she decided to run a half marathon in every state.
