The Illinois National Guard has had a strategically important State Partnership Program with the Polish military for more than 25 years. As part of the program The Adjutant General and other senior leaders visit Poland at least once a year. In 2019 that official senior leader visit took place in May. A senior leader team from the Illinois National Guard met with the Polish Armed Forces General Command in May 2019. Shown from left in the front is Col.
